Books, Books, Books, oh how I love Books.

Anyone that knows me even a little bit knows that I love books. Books are one of my very favourite things in the whole world. Books are so fun because they tell you stories that are real, stories that are made up and just take you away for a few minutes. I love looking at books by myself, I like having people read me books. Books are just so great. Today I found out something about books that changed my life. Did you know you could go to the library and get books for free? You get to borrow the books until you have read them all, or have your Mommy and Daddy read them to you and then you take them back and get more books.

Tonight Mommy and Daddy took me the library and let me get 8 books. I had so much fun looking at the books. There must have been a million books there, I can't wait to go back and get more. Mommy even bought be a special bag to keep my library books in, I bet you didn't guess that it was a Dora bag.

Valentine's Day Cookies with Dammi and Maddi

You might not all know this but as a nick name Mommy and Daddy call me "Tia." I really like how they have a nick name for me so I gave them both nick names too. I call Mommy "Dammi" and Daddy "Maddi", but I only call them these names when they call me "Tia."

So for Valentine's Day Dammi got a cookie making kit for us to make. Maddi, Dammi and I had a lot of fun making cookies. Maddi made his cookie to look like Dammi, isn't is cute?

All the way to Cosmic Adventures

Today Mommy and her friend Leah took me to Cosmic adventures. When I got there I didn't want to play, all I wanted to do was watch Dora on the big TV. Mommy and Leah laughed at me, they said "We didn't come all the way to Cosmic Adventures just to watch Dora." After the episode was over they made me go and play, can you imagine that they would make me do such a thing?

I skated on the World's Longest Skating Rink

Today I went downtown Ottawa with Mommy, Daddy, Uncle John and his girlfriend Dani to go skating on the World's Longest Skating Rink. I'll tell you it sure is a really big skating rink. I have never seen so many people all in one place having so much fun before. Everyone looked so happy. There were people that are bigger then me and people that were smaller then me. There were people walking, people skating, and if you can believe it there were even some people that were so spoiled that they got to sit in big sleighs and have other people push them around.

It may be really hard for you to believe since there aren't any pictures of it, but I can skate all by myself. When we first got to the Canal and everyone was putting on their skates, I was skating all over the place all by myself. It was so much work to skate that my Daddy got me a cool sleigh to sit in and relax. Daddy didn't want to skate but he wanted to come with us so Mommy, Uncle John and Dani made him sit in the sleigh with me. The sleigh was so comfy that I feel asleep almost as soon as I got it in and just let the adults push me all over the place. I wonder if Daddy fell asleep in the sleigh too.

After skating up and down the Canal Mommy told me that they all stopped and had a Beaver Tail, she says that you can't go skating on the Canal without eating a Beaver Tail. I had so much fun with everyone today, thank you so much.
