Christmas 2006

I wanted to say "Merry Christmas" to everyone and a big THANK YOU, I really was spoiled by everyone this year. Please check back really soon for an update of all the wonderful gifts that I received this year.

Lela

Mommy's friend Lela (also known as Leah) couldn't make it home to her family for Christmas so we invited her to join our family for Christmas. We were really glad that Lela could make it to our place for Christmas. Lela took all our Christmas pictures this year. Thank you so much for the great pictures and sharing this special day with me Lela.

What's Christmas without new Christmas PJs? Mommy got me these really fun Dora Christmas PJs. I love them, they are the best PJs ever.

One present please!!!

I remember Mommy once telling me that she used to get one present to open on Christmas Eve. I knew this information would be handy one day and so today I used this information to get a present for myself. I love my new Boots the monkey and Tico the squirrel toys.

Waiting for Great Nan and Great Pop

Nana and Papa talk about them all the time, I always get great gifts from them on my birthday, at Christmas, Easter, etc. but I was beginning to wonder if Great Nan and Great Pop really existed. I mean I am two years old and I had never met them. Then Nana called Mommy and said that she had great news, Great Nan and Great Pop were coming to town all the way from Newfoundland. I was so excited to hear this news. The day Great Nan and Great Pop flew into town, Mommy, Daddy, Nana, Papa and I went to the airport to meet them. I had a lot of fun waiting for them at the airport, but the best part of all was actually meeting them.

Curly Head

Who knew my hair was so curly? I don't know what happened, yesterday I had flat head and now I have curly head. Mommy says my hair is a moody as me.

Present for Santa

Mommy and Daddy took me to see Santa Clause. I had to wait in a really long line to see Santa, it took almost five minutes before it was my turn. I was so excited while I waiting in line. When it was finally my turn, I went up to Santa and stood there looking at him in silence. I brought Santa a Candy Cane ornament that Mommy and I made for him, he was so happy to see that I had brought him a gift. I sat with Santa for a few minutes and we discussed Christmas, he asked me what I wanted and I said "presents". It was so nice seeing Santa again, he said that I have been a really good girl. Santa told me he would watch my dreams to see what I really want for Christmas, I can't wait for him to come to my house on Christmas Eve.

O Christmas Tree

There is nothing that I love more in the world
then doing things with and like Mommy and Daddy. So tonight when Mommy and Daddy were decorating the Christmas tree I asked if I could help. Mommy and Daddy said "yes". Mommy gave me a whole bunch of Candy Canes that she had made and told me that I could put anywhere I wanted on the tree. I had a lot of fun decorating the tree with Mommy and Daddy. The tree really looks pretty.

In a BOX

While Mommy and Daddy were setting up the Christmas tree I found the best toy in the world. The Christmas tree box is so much fun to play with, I played with it for at least a half hour.

First Snowfall winter of 2006

I have been home sick all week, I am feeling quite a bit better but far from 100%. Daycare is closed today because they are now sick with this flu.This morning when Mommy and I woke up we got on all our heavy winter gear and went outside to play in the snow. I think that I am going to have a lot of fun this year playing in the snow. Mommy said that there are a lot a really fun things to do in Ottawa during the winter, I can't wait to see what she is talking about.
